Adam Clark is Chief Meteorologist for KOHD News. He has a sincere passion for weather. In addition to being a meteorologist for WCBI –CBS (Columbus, MS) and WRDW-CBS (Augusta GA). Adam earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Journalism from the University of South Carolina and a Master's Degree in Geoscience/Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Adam is a member of the American Meteorological Society and holds the AMS Seal of Approval.
Adam has chased storms from Hurricane Lili in 2002 and was there to witness the widest tornado on record (1.5miles wide) in Nebraska in 2004. He enjoys all types of weather but his interest really lies in orographic uplift and mountains effects on climate.
Adam keeps busy visiting schools and enjoys teaching all age levels. He teaches a 6 week class for COCC "Meteorology of Central Oregon" twice a year. If you'd like Adam to come to your school send him an email! adamclark@kohd.com
