A Prineville woman was attacked while walking on a bike path along Ochoco Creek near Deer Street.  The suspect is described as a white male 22-23 years old, medium to stocky build, short brown hair, possibly named "Chris".
 

On Saturday June 20, at about 4:28 AM, a female, age 32, Prineville resident reported being assaulted while walking along the bike path that borders the Ochoco Creek in the area of Deer Street. The female suffered injuries to her head and face. She was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released. The injuries were not life threatening.
 
The female reported that she was approached by a male while walking home. The male began hitting the female shortly after they met for no apparent reason.
