Two Prineville residents are arrested for allegedly selling illegal prescription drugs from a Prineville business.  Their home is located across from an elementary school.

On Wednesday evening shortly after 8pm, detectives from the CODE team served a search warrant at an apartment in Prineville for illegal prescription medications. During the execution of the search warrant 52 year old Paul Perlman and 32 year old Celena Williams were taken into custody without incident. The warrant came at the end of a month-long investigation by the CODE team into the illegal trafficking of prescription medication by Perlman. Perlman and Williams share an apartment at 176 NE Holly.  During the investigation, detectives made undercover purchases of prescription medications (morphine) from Perlman while he was employed at the Beds For Less business in Prineville. The purchases were actually made from Perlman inside the business.

Members of the Prineville Police Department, along with the Prineville Police Drug Detection K9 Bo, assisted CODE detectives with the search of the apartment.  Detectives seized 30 morphine pills along with 24 other miscellaneous prescription pills (that are yet to be determined), meth pipes and meth residue, and 5 bags of marijuana (total weigh of less than one ounce) pre-packaged for sale.
