Meth Arrests - One called a "significant source"

Early Wednesday morning CODE Detectives served a search warrant at 50 year old Therese LaCross' residence on Day Road in La Pine for illegal controlled substances. LaCross and 51 year old Lincoln Mann both reside at the residence and were home at the time the warrant was served. Both were taken into custody without incident. CODE had received information over an extended period of time in regard to the possible trafficking of methamphetamine by LaCross. This information was received from concerned citizens and other law enforcement officials. CODE detectives continued gathering information and continued with the investigation which resulted in this search warrant.
 
Seized during the search was over 3 ounces (86.6 grams) of methamphetamine, 23 Hydrocodone pills, over $1100 in cash, packaging material, scales, drug paraphernalia, one handgun, and an assortment of knives including some that were illegal to possess.
 
It is believed that LaCross was a significant source of methamphetamine into the La Pine area.
 
CODE was assisted in the serving of the warrant by Deschutes County Sheriff's Patrol and K-9, the Deschutes County Sheriff's Street Crime detectives, and the Sunriver Police Department. The street value for the methamphetamine is more than $8600.00.
