Three suspects are in custody at the Warm Springs Correctional Facility in connection with two drive by shootings on the reservation.

Warm springs detectives say the first shooting happened on the north side of the reservation.  The second was in the upper dry creek subdivision around 3pm Thursday .

The homeowner was at work but says her 18-year old son was home.  He says a vehicle, described as a white suv with five or six teenagers pulled up to the driveway and opened fire.

No one was injured.  Many residents say they try to keep an eye out for each other.

"We've heard of other shootings in the area, but this is too close to home.  It's happening just down the street here and it's a real concern for us," said Bob Medina, who lives in the area.

Jefferson County deputies were alerted to a suspect vehicle heading towards Madras.  As of Thursday night, those suspects are still at large.

Neither the homeowner nor her son would go on camera.  Detectives picked up bullet casings at the scene, but the family says it did not find any bullet holes.
