A reward is being offered for any help you can give Prineville police in stopping car break -ins.

Eighteen vehicles have been illegally entered across the city since September 1st.  The suspects are stealing expensive stereo equipment, hunting bows and cash among other items.  Most of the cars were unlocked.

If you have any information about the crime or stolen goods, call Crimestoppers at 1-800-3-Detect (1-800-333-8328).  You could receive a reward up to $1,000 and you can remain anonymous.
