GRANTS PASS, Ore. - Over 200 pounds of marijuana were seized by Oregon State Police in Grants Pass Thursday.
The seizure comes after a search warrant was executed at a location in Grants Pass. There, detectives found a large scale growing operation and 200 pounds of pot.
It follows an investigation by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team.
Two of the three people involved in the growing operation were confirmed as registered medical marijuana growers. They admitted to growing for 13 patients. Authorities say the legal amount of usable marijuana to have for 13 patients would total just over 19 pounds.
Brenda Thomas, Susan Bryant and Thomas Bletko, all of Grants Pass, are now charged with controlled substance offenses.

Progression is slow in the Rogue Valley
WOW!
How many drug stores are being shut down for having too much cough medicine?
How many people are arrested for having too much beer in their fridge?
KDRV, why do you give this red meat to all these pompous, anti pot,
socially challenged cavemen? What is this 1975?
I know why. MONEY for more cool anti pot SUV, trucks, guns and those cool
black ninja suits to play like army-men in the forest.
Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team, you guys do great work on keeping the
meth, heroin and other real bad drugs off the street....great job! But pot? Come on.
