MEDFORD, Ore. - It will soon be easier for people in Medford to get information on their neighborhood as well as get updates on building applications.
 
The Medford City Planning Department has added four new features to its web page. Residents can now fill out planning applications, check their status and look up recent hearing notices all online.
 
"Basically, it saves time because they don't have to call the planning department or come down to the planning department. Now they can actually view all this information online in the comfort of their own home," Planning Coordinator Chris Olivier said.
 
Also new to the site is the "What's happening in my neighborhood" application. It allows residents see what applications or zoning adjustments are being changed in their area.
