MEDFORD, Ore. - Existing home sales in Jackson County are up double digits for the the ninth straight month.
Sales increased 27 percent in the 90 day reporting period which ended October 31, with 501 homes sold this year compared to 394 at the same time last year.
The Rogue Valley Association of Realtors still says the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit contributed heavily to the increase in sales.
The average number of days a house is on the market is also down.
