MEDFORD, Ore. - A major storm is affecting the Oregon coast, with a flood watch in effect along the Northern Oregon coast through Thursday night.

Wind has been more of a concern on the Southern Oregon Coast. A peak gust of 75-miles-per-hour was measured at Cape Blanco Friday.

The same front responsible for the coastal flooding and wind will move across Southern Oregon and Northern California Friday. Several weather warnings are being issued, and this cold front will likely bring snow to the mountains and the passes.

Snow levels will likely fall to 3,000 feet. This will probably not cause travel issues Friday morning, but could get progressively worse throughout the day. Mt. Shasta could see 12 inches or more. The Siskiyou Pass could see 4 to 6 inches. Mt. Ashland could see up to 12 inches.

Wet weather will likely last through the weekend.
