An unexpected paint job had to be done on buildings and portables at the Redmond High School main campus and Hartman buildings Monday morning after they were extensively vandalized with graffiti over the weekend.
"I don't believe, I don't believe that the perpetrators are students here. Now they may be but none of the activity indicates that tit's student driven. I think it's young people likely who on the weekends have extra time on their hands and chose to deface public property," says principal Jon Bullock.
The tagging all looks similar in nature and the police are investigating to determine if there are any symbols they should be aware of as many pieces of the *artwork* are signed by a possible local street gang.
Sandblasting and repainting the walls is estimated to cost about $2,000.
The Redmond School District is offering $500 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
