You Ask. We Answer.

04/07/09 Bend

In this 'You Ask, We Answer,' Dan asks, "I have a question in regards to Doppler radar in Central Oregon. There are Doppler radars in Portland, Medford and Pendleton. With our large, ever-growing population and our crazy weather, does the NWS have any plans to have solid Doppler coverage for our area? The Portland and Medford radars do a so-so job but, we need something better. Places like Powell Butte or Pine Mountain may be good locations."
