Crimestoppers: Reward for Helping Find Burglars on Surveillance Tape

06/16/09 Bend

A reward is being offered after several business burglaries leave behind a path of destruction.

Surveillance video shows two suspects entering Jake's Diner off NE Highway 20 early Sunday morning.  One shuffles through drawers while the other pulls out the cash register and slams it on the ground.  As one suspect looks around the area near the cash register and safe, you can get a good picture of his face.  The second suspect forces open the Habitat for Humanity donation box.

If you look closely, you can see an identifiable tattoo on the right side of his neck.

TS&S down the street and a doctor's office were also burglarized Sunday with shattered glass left behind.  Police believe the suspects committed all three burglaries and are looking into possible connections with burglaries at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife office on Parrell and four other businesses off Empire Boulevard.

If you help police find these men, you could earn a reward up to $1,000.  You can remain anonymous.  Just call Crimestoppers at 1-800-3-Detect (1-800-333-8328).
