07/02/09 Bend

Two burglaries at medical offices in NE Bend Thursday morning lead to a warnings for patients after it's feared some patients files may have been at risk.  The Saint Charles Behavioral Health Services and the West Coast Dental Offices had their doors smashed around three a.m.

No details were released about what may have been stolen.  Bend Police think whomever did it was looking for money or prescription drugs-- but could have accessed records..

"We're going to be extra careful and we're going to notify everybody who has records here, and let them know what they need to do if they're concerned," says Robin Henderson with Behavioral Health Services.

"It's a new office and we haven't had anything like this happen before, so it is a little scary and just kind of puts you on edge," says Cydney Johnston of West coast Dental.

Both offices fixed their doors and were open for business Thursday.
