She notes there are plenty of people out there who could use cheap transportation, even if its low gas mileage. Well, the answer is a key component of the passage of the plan was getting the vehicles completely off the roads. This is just another devient scheme of Obamas that make no sense, just like his health care program...it helps no one. You are right, there are those out there that cannot affort a new car, some who can't afford an older car, but they are junking good cars and why? Have we heard a good answer? No? There is really no point in this rpogram except he tells peole they MAY get as much as $4500 tax credit. Do they realize that the trade in on their Ok car is probably down due to all Obamas spending...the 4500 is the amount they already lost trading in....Laughs on those who think this guy is legit. Wait until you see what you get with his new health care program.....this guy is having a laugh on us parade at the White House, and we just sit and let him go. Just WHAT other ways are there for person to get a good car? I want to see that list on who is giving away cars to those who need them. Wake up America before it is too late. I will be the first to say the "I" word....IMPEACH!

So wheres the answer to the question. I don`t see one. This program is a joke. I saw the guy who intially proposed the program and he said the gov`t chopped it up to shreds. At current gas prices it will take an owner/taxpayer of a new qualifying car atleast 5 years to break even. Thanks Obama

Marsha@CRRListen....if Obama can get us to give up all these cars, by next year he will discount his privately owned Chrysler Corp, and force us all to buy them. If we wake up now, we can begin to see that all his palns have us paying a huge price, and loosing our freedoms inch by inch. Those of you that did not suspect there was a problem with this guy ought to be ashamed of yourselves. THE CHANGE is bankrupting this country, and China is buying it.
