Your Voice: Tough Cuts

08/12/09 Bend

Many people have made cuts to their personal budgets.  We ask what you miss the most?

"I cut back on my cell phone. It was very expensive and I miss it because it was how I communicated with my family but because it was over seventy dollars a month we canceled that and just have the house phone and just do calling cards because they're dramatically cheaper than having the cell phone plan," says Christina Reese of Bend.

"I would say the ocean in San Diego. We just moved last week from San Diego to Bend and that's what we're going to be missing but not the high prices and real-estate but we've got family here now and probably one fourth of what we were paying in San Diego," says Julio Lopez of Bend.

"I guess I really miss being able to take off on a road trip like going to the coast or driving out of town... things like that," says Tracy Alexander of Bend.
