You Ask; We Answer

10/19/09 Redmond

In this ‘You Ask, We Answer', Jo Anne in Redmond asks, "Do you know what is being built near Wickiup and 27th in Redmond? My husband and I have been very curious."

That's the new Redmond elementary school opening next fall. Construction should be done by the end of June. Many parts are already complete.

"The site work is to the point where they're starting to grate for parking lots. On the main building you can see that the classroom wings are framed up to the two story level; the roof trusses are on; the roof has been sheeted," says Doug Snyder with the Redmond School District.

Crews plan to start sheet rocking by January. For more details on the project go to: http://www.redmond.k12.or.us/rsd/lib/rsd/Construction_Update_10-2009-F.p...
