RV Fire Leaves One Man Homeless

Bend Fire and Rescue responded to a fully involved recreational vehicle fire. On arrival fire crews found the vehicle on fire with flames spreading to nearby vegetation. The initial engine company controlled the fire within minutes of arrival. The vehicle and contents were a total loss. The owner of the RV was living in it at the time of the incident. There were no injuries. Red Cross is assisting the owner in finding new lodging. The cause of the fire is mechanical failure.
