Your Voice: Christmas Trees

12/02/08 Bend

Those of you celebrating Christmas will likely put up a tree.  We want to know if you prefer cutting your own, buying one, or investing in a fake tree?

"Definitely cutting your own.  Getting a fake one in Bend, Oregon is like it's right in your backyard why would you go buy one?  If you lived in the city I could see why you'd buy one," SAYS Chris Chabot of Bend.

"We prefer to cut our own trees because we live in La Pine on a pretty big piece of land so we need to cut trees anyway ... kill two birds with one stone," says Krystal Houston of La Pine.

"I already bought it from Home Depot but when I lived in Maine my dad and I used to go out and cut our own," says Bonnie Dertorossian of Bend.
