You Ask. We Answer.

12/26/08 Bend

In tonight's You Ask, We Answer segment -- Cara in Bend wants to know about some bumps in the road along wall street heading north across from Pioneer Park. Under the snow and ice-- those asphalt bumps aren't too noticeable-- but you can still see the extra lumps on the roadway. We asked Bend Public Works Streets Division and found out they're actually lumps of concrete. Sometime last summer-- a concrete truck likely spilled the material on the roadway-- and it dried up. Bend City leaders says they don't know who did it. "Concrete spills are common once they are there for a few hours if its not a hazard then we are not as aggressive to get it off," says Mike Linkoff Bend Street Maintenance Supervisor.
