The Skytracker weather team was recently asked how much rain we've received over the past few weeks because of all the storms from a local viewer. Here's what we dug up!
Hi Lynn,
Using the numbers from Robert's Field -- we've seen 1.40" since June 1, and we saw 0.69" during May. We've recently come out from our deficit but here in central Oregon, at +0.01" right now, but we average 0.02" a day of rain and since we're not expecting any more rain for a while, we'll be falling back into our deficit. Since Jan 1, 2009, we've seen 4.32" of rain, and we normally have 4.31" of rain at this time -- so that makes that +0.01" on the positive side right now. Last year at this time we only had 1.73" so we're definitely seeing more rain!
Here's a bit more information if you're willing to look through it!
