As many people who were in Bend yesterday quickly found out -- the weather here can change on the drop of a dime. We went from breaks of sunshine under a few clouds to a very strong thunderstorm complete with locally heavy rain, thunder, lighting and enough hail in some places to make it look like it had just snowed.
Here is a package from Tuesday showing the problems this severe weather caused around town.
A few of our neighbors also sent in a good number of photos showing the hail!
